Program
Day 1 : JAKARTA - PANGKALAN BUN - KUMAI - PARK, O/N : Boat
Flight from Cengkareng by Linus air at 11.30. Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun
you will be picked up by our local staff and take you to Kumai to board on the
boat. The boat is a traditional Klotok wooden river boat about 12m by 2.5m
with a roof which forms the upper deck where you can view the rain forest as it
glides by. The guide's team includes the boatman, a cook and expert guide.
In the peaceful afternoon we will slowly explore the quite river by the klotok
while observe the monkeys along the riverside. Dinner and overnight on the
boat. simple mattress, pillow, fine meals, bottled "mineral" water, mosquito
net, kitchen, simple toilet available on boat besides the familiar - helpful
guides and boatmen (L, D).

DAY 2 : PARK - CAMP LEAKEY - LODGE, O/N : Lodge
After breakfast board the klotok to travel up river for about 2½ hours boating
and then up a side creek to Camp Leakey where the older orangutans are
reintroduced into the rain forest and also known as research center for
Orangutan. Trekking through tropical rainforest searching for wildlife, wild
orangutan, birds and other rainforest animals as well as tropical jungle plant.
Back to the boat for lunch then witness feeding time at 14.00 pm for old
rehabilitation orangutan given additional foods. Overnight at Rimba Lodge.
(B,L,D). (Dinner serve on the boat. )

DAY 3 : LODGE - PONDOK TANGGUI - PANGKALAN BUN .
After breakfast board the klotok to travel up the river for Pondok Tanguy, the
rehabilitation center for the new ex-captive orangutans, see feeding time at
09.00am. Afterward boating down the river to kumai then proceed to
Pangkalan Bun airport for for your flight to Jakarta ( B, L ), Tour end

3. Boat Transport : A wooden river boat about 12m by 2m / klotok with a roof that
   forms the upper deck, a great place for viewing the Surrounds, Toilet facilities
   and very basic shower facilities aboard the klotok.


4. Accommodation 1 night at the lodge ( emerald room ) & 1 Night on the boat


5. Guide / Cook : English speaking guide


6. Full board Meals : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. All meals are Indonesian, but are
   fresh and very well presented with a good variety. as indicated ( B, L, D )
